Anita Ekberg

 

Kerstin Anita Marianne Ekberg (Swedish pronunciation (listen) 29 September 1931 until 11 January 2015) was an Swedish actress who appeared in American and European films, known for her beauty and stunning appearance. She gained notoriety for her iconic role in the role of Sylvia in the Federico Fellini film La Dolce Vita (1960). Ekberg was a predominantly Italian worker. She became a permanent resident of Italy in 1964.
