Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model from 11 November 1996. She made her debut in a feature film with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to portray the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Donnevan is in A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) also play roles. Doody began her modeling career after her being approached by a hopeful photographer. Her career has since developed into commercial modeling. Doody was adamantly against fashion, thongs and glamour when she was modeling. She was cast in a minor role in the film Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill when she was spotted by the director of casting. Doody's name appeared in John Willis Screen World Vol. 12 of the most promising young actors in 1986. 38. Doody was 18 years old in the role of Doody in Bond, was and is still the oldest Bond girl until today. A different early film played a tiny part in the film in the role of IRA member Siobhan Donovan in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) which was a film starring Mickey Rourke. Doody played a non-speaking part in the 1987 adaptation of The Secret Garden appearing as Archibald Craven's wife Lilias in the movie of his dreams. She played Sapsorrow in the Jim Henson's fantasy series The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She starred alongside Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. She then took on her greatest role as Austrian Nazisympathiser and Archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider playing alongside Harrison Ford. Doody played alongside Sean Connery in the film, as Indy's dad. Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries, a British mini-series that was inspired by Hitler Diaries. She later moved to Hollywood. She went on as Flannery the agent of Charlie Sheen, as well as girlfriend in Major League II. She had been chosen as the replacement for Cybill Shepherd who had been L'Oreal's spokesperson. Doody was absent from the stage for nearly 10 years, came back in 2003 to play a small role in her role in the British comedy The Actors in which Michael Caine appeared as her as a character at an award ceremony. Her roles include an appearance in a TV film version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004, a booklet about the Holocaust, and the short film Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. Doody filming a character in Danny Dyer's 2010 film The Rapture. The Clinic, a medical drama that aired on RTE. The Asphyx was the remake she made in 2011. Pam Jefferson, the character she played in E4's comedy Beaver Falls during its first season, which ran for two seasons. The show featured her in We Still Kill the Old Way in 2014, a documentary. The Almeria the tierra de film prize was given to her on November 21 in 2018. The actress also was given a star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
